  As I was leaving I explained my disappointment with the fact that I paid a deposit without hesitation, had paid in full in advance without hesitation, and were leaving in advance of what we'd paid for due to having had to endure a cold shower and had lost the chance to recover any cost by sharing the rooms due to the lack of knowledge about the reliability. The receptionist was apologetic and I mentally wrote off the cost because she handled an angry customer very well.

  Whist I was explaining about the failure of lights (two) in room 7, "Mark" stuck his head around the corner of the reception area, and shouted that they had no idea about the cold shower (so I assume we had to regard it as bad luck. ie. he accepted no responsibility, even though at 5.30am there was no way to contact management or maintenance staff like him.)

  This place is good for family and couple good staff good weather and nice environment I like it u can get even single room they sell thing in cheap amount $ 1.50 _$ 4.99 that's the amount for food

  This refusal to accept responsibility, and NO offer of apology made me extremely angry and I turned my back on the handy man and slammed the door as I left. Mark, the handy man then raced to the door and told me to f**k off the property.

  Of course I learned in the handy man's brain(?), slamming a door is far more important than not providing hot showers or lighting, areas that I thought the handy man would have regarded as his responsibility.

  Booked three rooms for two & three nights for our five driver team at a Le Mons event at QR. As I had previously stayed at the caravan park, and as I'd lost my motor home in the recent floods, booking into the Motel made sense. Bad choice, the hot water system wasn't working and rooms 5, 6 and 7 had cold showers which I discovered at 5.30am. As soon as we were organised at the track I rang the Motel to explain the situation (I think it was about 10.30am) and was told off handedly that "Mark" would be advised about the showers when he got back. As we had no clear idea about the shower status and no one rang me to tell me that things were fixed, two people who had planned to stay in the rooms were able to book other motel rooms in Ipswich.

  We stayed in a cabin 26th 27th August,Cabin was beyond our expectations and checknin and booking staff were great.

  We decided to leave the next morning, despite the fact that at least one room was paid for another night. (The shower was fixed).

  Not a bad place I guess. I have only visited people that live there. I do love the pool though.

  I will not been coming back too this place again. Too many break ins, also to many people are going off their heads at you and your families, a lot off drugs in this Willowbañk caravan park
